If you want cycle shorts or cotton ‘t’ you need to enter and order before the 5th November.

Late fee applies from 8pm Monday 5th November, late fee of $10 applies to all entries after this date. No merchandise can be ordered after this time.

Pre race registration Friday 9th November, 3pm -7pm @ Lone Star Wanaka It is strongly recommended you register at this time.

Time Trial  pre-ride briefing: Friday 6.15pm at Lone Star Wanaka. 6.30pm race start. Prize giving 1pm Saturday.

Last minute registrations and entries Saturday 10th November 7.30am-9.30am at the Lone Star Wanaka. This is purely for ‘out of towners’ who can only arrive on the morning – all locals and those staying in Wanaka MUST register the day before (thanks!).

70km Competitive pre-ride briefing: Saturday 8.45am at Lone Star Wanaka. 9.00am race start. 1pm Prize giving.

22km Social teams pre-ride briefing: Saturday 9am at Lone Star Wanaka. 9.15am race start. 1pm Prize giving.

44km Recreational pre-ride briefing: Saturday 9.45am at Lone Star Wanaka. 10am race start. 1pm Prize giving.

  1. What exactly does ‘competitive’ mean? Is that an indication of fitness level or desire to win? I would like to cycle 70km but really don’t care whether I beat anyone.

    • It’s just a name for the category so you can enter just to complete the longer distance if you like but we will ask you to start at the back of the bunch. We don’t really want inexperienced riders who may take over 4 hours and/or ‘get in the way’ in the peloton.
